Lighthouse Kids Programs exist to point children to Jesus and lay a strong foundation of faith that lasts. We value safety, joy, and biblical teaching, creating an environment where kids feel known, loved, and excited to learn about God.

Little Beams Nursery — Infants to Age 3
Verse: “You are the light of the world… Let your light shine before others…” – Matthew 5:14a, 16 (NIV)
Vision: To nurture the smallest hearts in an environment of safety, warmth, and wonder, where God’s love is felt from the very beginning.
Mission: To create a warm, safe, and loving environment where the youngest children are gently introduced to God’s love. Through care, play, music, and simple truths, we begin nurturing the light of Christ in their hearts.
How it runs on Sunday: Little Beams runs during the full 10:00 AM service, allowing parents to worship while their youngest children are lovingly cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. Our nursery team is trained in child safety and provides age-appropriate play, songs, and simple Bible stories. Every child is signed in at the welcome desk and given a matching security number for parent pick-up.

Sparks Junior JK – Grade 2

Vision: To spark curiosity, joy, and foundational faith in young children as they begin to understand who God is and how much they are loved.
Mission: To spark joy and wonder in young children as they discover who God is and how deeply they are loved. Through worship, storytelling, crafts, and prayer, we help build a foundation of trust and excitement about following Jesus.
How it runs on Sunday: Kids start in the main sanctuary for a time of worship alongside the congregation, then are dismissed to their classroom for an age-appropriate Bible lesson, activities, and prayer. Our leaders use engaging, hands-on curriculum to help younger children discover who God is and how He loves them. Every child is signed in and given a secure pick-up number.

Sparks Grades 3 – 5

Vision: To guide children in building a personal, growing faith anchored in God’s truth, equipping them to stand strong and shine in everyday life.
Mission: To help growing kids explore their faith more deeply, asking questions and forming lasting friendships rooted in God’s Word. Through active learning, discussion, and service, we encourage each child to anchor their life in Jesus and shine brightly in the world.
How it runs on Sunday: Like Sparks Junior, kids begin in the sanctuary for worship before heading to their own classroom. Lessons go deeper — exploring biblical stories, discussing real faith questions, and connecting Scripture to everyday life. We want Sparks kids to know they are part of God’s big story and that their faith matters right now, not just when they grow up.

How It Works on Sunday

Check-In What to expect when you arrive
- Visit the Welcome Desk — When you arrive, head to the welcome desk in the lobby. A friendly volunteer will help check in your child on Planning Centre.
- Get Your Name Tags — Each child receives a name tag with a unique secure code. You’ll receive a matching guardian tag — keep this with you for pick-up.
- Head In and Dismiss/Drop Off — Nursery-aged children can be dropped off in their room before the service. Older children are dismissed to their age-appropriate classes during the service.
If you’re joining us for the first time, you can pre-register your kids to make check-in fast and easy.
Check-Out Picking up your child after the service
- Head to Your Child’s Room — After service, make your way to either the children’s area or nursery area for pickup.
- Show Your Secure Code — Present your guardian tag to the leaders. They’ll match your secure code to your child’s tag before releasing them to you.
- Pick Up & Go — Once verified, your child is released to you. No child will be released without a matching code — your child’s safety is our top priority.
Your Child’s Safety
- Every class has a minimum of two screened leaders
- All leaders are adequately screened for character and safety
- Age-specific, Bible-based lessons in each class
- Secure code system ensures only authorized guardians pick up
First Time?
We’d love to have you! If you’re joining us for the first time, you can pre-register your kids to make check-in on site fast, simple, and easy. Just arrive a few minutes early and look for the welcome desk.

At Lighthouse Community Church, we believe every child is a treasure from God. Our goal is simple: we want to walk alongside kids and their families as they grow closer to Jesus and to each other. We do this by learning to love God, live life together, and serve the world around us.
Finding Our Place in God’s Story
We teach the Bible in a way that helps kids see themselves in God’s big story. We want them to realize that the truth in Scripture isn’t just for people long ago — it’s for them, their families, and their neighborhood today. As they learn, they will discover that Jesus is personally inviting them to follow Him and play a special part in His kingdom.
Walking Together
We know we can’t do this on our own. We rely on the Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom and strength to lead. We consider it a humble privilege to walk with your children as they grow up.
Our deepest hope is that every child understands how much they are truly worth. Because of what Jesus did for them on the cross, they are priceless. We want them to grow up trusting in that love and living out the amazing truth of who God says they are.
