At Lighthouse Community Church, we believe every child is a treasure from God. Our goal is simple: we want to walk alongside kids and their families as they grow closer to Jesus and to each other. We do this by learning to love God, live life together, and serve the world around us.

Finding Our Place in God’s Story

We teach the Bible in a way that helps kids see themselves in God’s big story. We want them to realize that the truth in Scripture isn’t just for people long ago — it’s for them, their families, and their neighborhood today. As they learn, they will discover that Jesus is personally inviting them to follow Him and play a special part in His kingdom.

Walking Together

We know we can’t do this on our own. We rely on the Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom and strength to lead. We consider it a humble privilege to walk with your children as they grow up.

Our deepest hope is that every child understands how much they are truly worth. Because of what Jesus did for them on the cross, they are priceless. We want them to grow up trusting in that love and living out the amazing truth of who God says they are.

How It Works on Sunday

Here’s what a Sunday morning looks like for your family

Lighthouse Kids programs (Sparks and Sparks Jr) start in the sanctuary at 10:00 AM for a time of worship and then are dismissed for their class. Little Beams (0–3 yrs) start in nursery at 10:00 AM for the whole service.

Check-In

Visit the Welcome Desk

When you arrive, head to the welcome desk in the lobby. A friendly volunteer will help you check in your child on Planning Centre.

Get Your Name Tags

Each child receives a name tag with a unique secure code. You’ll receive a matching guardian tag — keep this with you for pick-up.

Drop Off & Enjoy

Drop your child off at their age-appropriate room. Our screened leaders are ready and waiting! Then head into the service knowing your kids are in great hands.

Head to Your Child’s Room

After the service, make your way to the room where you dropped off your child.

Show Your Secure Code

Present your guardian tag to the leaders. They’ll match your secure code to your child’s tag before releasing them to you.

Pick Up & Go

Once verified, your child is released to you. No child will be released without a matching code — your child’s safety is our top priority.

Your Child’s Safety

Every class has a minimum of two screened leaders
All leaders are adequately screened for character and safety
Age-specific, Bible-based lessons in each class
Secure code system ensures only authorized guardians pick up

We’d love to have you! If you’re joining us for the first time, you can pre-register your kids to make check-in on site fast, simple, and easy. Just arrive a few minutes early and look for the welcome desk.

Lighthouse Kids

Lighthouse Kids Programs exist to point children to Jesus and lay a strong foundation of faith that lasts. We value safety, joy, and biblical teaching, creating an environment where kids feel known, loved, and excited to learn about God.

Little Beams (Nursery: Infants – Age 3)

Vision: To nurture the smallest hearts in an environment of safety, warmth, and wonder, where God’s love is felt from the very beginning.

Mission: To create a warm, safe, and loving environment where the youngest children are gently introduced to God’s love. Through care, play, music, and simple truths, we begin nurturing the light of Christ in their hearts.

Motto: Held in love. Growing in light.

JR Sparks (JK – Grade 2)

Vision: To spark curiosity, joy, and foundational faith in young children as they begin to understand who God is and how much they are loved.

Mission: To spark joy and wonder in young children as they discover who God is and how deeply they are loved. Through worship, storytelling, crafts, and prayer, we help build a foundation of trust and excitement about following Jesus.

Motto: Where faith begins to shine.

Sparks (Grades 3–5)

Vision: To guide children in building a personal, growing faith anchored in God’s truth, equipping them to stand strong and shine in everyday life.

Mission: To help growing kids explore their faith more deeply, asking questions and forming lasting friendships rooted in God’s Word. Through active learning, discussion, and service, we encourage each child to anchor their life in Jesus and shine brightly in the world.

Motto: Rooted in truth. Anchored in Christ.

Lighthouse Youth – Ignite

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Our youth ministry exists to equip students to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. Through relevant teaching, meaningful community, and mentorship, we help students build a faith that’s their own.

Ignite Jr (Grades 6–8)

Vision: To ignite a personal faith in Jesus during a time of discovery, identity formation, and growing independence.

Mission: To ignite a vibrant, personal faith in students as they begin to own their beliefs. Through relevant teaching, worship, small groups, and mentorship, we guide them in discovering who they are in Christ and how to live that out in their daily lives.

Motto: Faith that sparks change.

Ignite Sr (Grades 9–12)

Vision: To equip and empower high school students to live boldly and faithfully, grounded in Christ and ready to impact their world.

Mission: To fuel a deep, lasting relationship with Jesus as students prepare for life beyond high school. We challenge them to grow in spiritual maturity, live out their faith with courage, and lead others with love and integrity.
